Many helpful resources are available to benefit your community. We have developed a Safe Routes to School brochure and a Program Guide that is specific to Kentucky. The brochure is a quick overview of the program, its history and program eligibility. The Program Guide provides readers with a basic outline of the Safe Routes to School program. It facilitates the planning, development and implementation of projects and activities that will improve safety, reduce traffic, fuel consumption and air pollution in the vicinity of schools. The guide also provides a step by step outline for those planning to develop a Safe Routes to School program in their community.
